A Day at the Beach

Yesterday we spent the day at Shirahama Beach, the same beach were I got those wicked jellyfish stings.  This time I was a little more careful before jumping in.  They call these jellyfish "wasps" since they sting like one.  But they're really hard to point out because they're so clear.  All you can really see are the long thin tentacles when they're right up next to you. So we didn't get much swimming in (too bad because the water was so warm!) but we still enjoyed ourselves.

One day we took a walk through Hois Ten Bosch.  It's supposed to be modeled after a Dutch town.  It was kind of strange, hardly anybody was there, felt like a ghost town.  But we saw some neat stuff.

These are nasty!  We call them "moldies"

Some edamame, tea, and happy buddha!
